I had that feeling a couple weeks ago when the basement door opened all by itself and set the house alarm off at 3:21 am. Thank God for digital alarm clocks. (Door jam needed to be fixed.) No burglars.

I was trying to go to sleep at my moms house, and I heard the closet door pop like it does when it comes open, I grabbed my phone, and shined the light over there, and the door had come open. I was kind of spooked at first but brushed it off as maybe it didn’t seat well in the jamb.

So I laid back down, and as soon as my phone light shut off I felt something press down on the end of the bed. At this point I was like wtf is over there, I shined my light again, and again nothing. I finally said forget it there’s nothing in here I’m just letting my mind think there is. As soon as I covered back up I felt something touch my hand that was laid over the edge of the bed. This time I didn’t grab my phone thinking it was the cover resting on my hand, but then I felt the edge of the bed squash down in two places right beside me. I jumped up, grabbed my light, and again not a damn thing there.

Laying back down again I finally said out loud “just let me go to sleep”! As soon as I said that I felt a cold breeze against my cheek, and that was the end of that night. It was super creepy. I’m going to set up my night vision camera and record and see what happens

Haha. I was trying to drive, had to wait till I got back to start the story, but seriously I’m going to set up my infrared camera, and audio recorder just to see what exactly happens when I’m sleeping

Well Pat, my parents divorced when I was in the First Grade, made me around 7 yrs. One of my most profound memories was of Dad had Mom on the floor choking her, in a rage. That's when we left, Mom took my older brother and me up the holler to this same farm to live with Granny and Grandpa Bill. I went to 18 different schools before finishing high school, one year we changed schools 3 times.

We were up here at Granny's at about my age of eight. Brother and I were sleeping upstairs and Mom was sleeping on the couch in the living room. About 1958, we heard Mom crying downstairs, went down and Mom got us out of here before daylight - something woke her up, hovering over her. She felt like it came for her soul. Years later after I retired here, the same thing came for me. Not a feeling you forget, but long devotions to prayer and now it doesn't come anymore. Certainly don't wish to experience it again.

I firmly believe in heaven AND hell, don't want no more hell in my life! Peace in the end is our most important objective.

Ended up at just before age 16 living in a boarding house in Spray, NC at $10 a week plus meals, going to school during the day and working 2nd Shift at Spray Cotton Mills. Worked my way through school and joined the army the day after I turned 18 to get away, and get a free education = Education will set you free.

Ended up with a BS in Business Admin (easy way out )

In the construction industry, worked 57 different projects in 29 states.

And then medical issues ruled the day - retired the days following my 65th birthday.

That's what got me up this holler Mighty peaceful up here!

Got some stuff. Feel like hell. (just on the left side of my face.) Had a sinus thing then a dentist encounter and the whole side of my face throbs. Started an antibiotic as I don't know what else to do. Can't do Ibuprofen, can only take so many Tylenol a day, ice packs on face not so great. Think it started in my ear. Been 2 weeks now, so it won't go away. At least NO fever and NO cough! I've been hiding in the house all winter, for the most part. Also I found out the cat puked in the bed AFTER I got into it! Oh the sheer joy of it all!

You can't make this garbage up!

For me, it's been almost a decade, it wasn't of earth,
I'm still kinda freaked about it... still can't process it...

I don't like making "connections"... I don't think we know what we're doing in those realms,
and they got more experience.
I got to trust God and Jesus.
guess that's bout all I got to say bout that... for now.
