I found a 1906 Reunion pin/cuff link from a retired Civil War soldier. This is a prized possession for me. I’m so so happy:))) IMG_2056.webpIMG_2060.webpIMG_2061.webp

Any suggestions on cleaning it or should I leave it alone?

Man that is an awesome find!! You are killing it in that park!

NICE! I always wanted to hunt the site of the old Confederate Veterans home by City Park in New Orleans... Maybe when I go visit over Mardi Gras

I’m ready when you are. I already have my snorkeling gear just haven’t used it yet. I wanted to do The waters of Ponchatrain Beach but I don’t have a kayak and I wasn’t sure if that federal building would allow it. I MD across the street where the barracks use to be in the 40’s. I was going to go in the water where Lincoln Beach use to be but I’d definitely have to bring my Springfield .45

Very nice find .I hope I can make it south of the border for some confederate finds but I doubt I’ll come up with anything that awesome.

do not clean it except by running water and possibly a soft tooth brush. nothing else.

Absolutely awesome find Truth! Great way to start the new year! Congrats and continued good hunting.

Find where they put the excess dirt.

One of a kind find
Congrats

What a very nice commemorative relic.

Sweet little piece of history mate. Enamel falls off with too much brushing. Looks fine the way it is. Very COOL!:headbang:
