I FOUND THIS WHILE DETECTING
IT IS AMETHYST AND A VERY NICE ONE AT THAT
IT APPEARS TO BE WRAPPED WITH GOLD.
AND HAS A CLASP ON THE TOP FOR A CHAIN
IT LOOKS LIKE IT WAS DIPPED IN MELTED GOLD
I THINK THIS SHOULD MAKE A NICE DOWN PAYMENT ON MY NEW WHITES MXT
WHAT DO YOU THINK ?
ILL POST IT IN FOR SALE ON TNET AND OPEN IT TO OFFERS.
i DID NOTICE WHILE RINSING IT OFF THAT THE GOLD WRAPPING ON IT IS VERY SOFT METAL.
MY WIFE IS GIVING ME A DEER IN THE HEADLIGHT LOOK ABOUT LETTING IT GO.
I THINK SHE MAY TRY TO PULL THE (IF YOU LOVE ME CARD).......GULP
I WOULD KEEP IT BUT I HAVE TO ADMIT ID RATHER HAVE THE MXT WOULD YOU.

Looks like gold leaf applied to the crystal. If I found that i would search for a jeweler who does that kind of work. Maybe someone in your area? It's unique!

I wouldn't part with it either, as it is so unique. I have one that is similar with red stones that I'm guessing are garnets. I got mine for free (long story) but I consider it one of the most unique pieces of jewelry I own. I agree that you should use it as a stocking stuffer for your wife! (I also dont' think they are too valuable.)

Lovely piece of jewelry.

Had my MXT for around 5 years now and it has been a pleasure to use. Use to live in Arizona and used it for shooting nuggets and entwined gold in Prescott. Now I am in Ohio since my father passed away and use the MXT for coins, jewelry, and bullets... and of course the large chunks of iron that seems to be everyplace in the ground.

Great Machine for coins, relics, and gold.
