I never thought I would ever find one of these! Very good day indeed!

Ok it has been a very good day. First of all I found out this morning that I won a Garrett Pro Pointer then my buddy Dustin Miller and I go to a house that was built in 1824 and pound some dirt for a couple of hours. Well there were 2 coins I thought I would never get but today I got them. The first is a 1851 3 cent piece, second unknown date shield nickel, and third I got a 1906 V Nickel which this one is a second for me. WOW what a day!!!! I also found a very old saddle stirrup. I will post a photo of it later.

Thanks everyone. Ok now for how I found the 3 cent piece. It was an eye find! I didn't believe it either but i guess when Brooke (daughter) and I was at the same house on Saturday, one of us dug it which it was probably her and it was stuck to her shovel and fell off! It was clean when I found it which puzzled me. I then figured that out also. When we were there Saturday we had to leave because it started raining hard so I guess the rain washed everything off of it.
