There's a place in northern most California called the Lava Beds National Park. This picture is of Gillams camp on the south-west end of Tulelake. I will try to post a link about the war later....the Modoc War was famous for the amount of U.S. troops held at bay by a tiny number of Modoc Indians. I would LOVE to be able to detect in the park, unfettered!! unnamed (1).webp

I love history, bronze age sights in Europe to Wester mining districts. South West Asia if it weren't full of modern war artifacts that can still detonate would be pretty cool too.

On the Thames River and then I would go have a pint or two to celebrate my finds, hee hee.

digger460: Not inside anymore, but there is 42 acres of land at FortKnox. Gotta be something there.

The ocean off the Florida coast. We KNOW there's lots of treasure in that area!

Somewhere over in Europe that may hold Roman artifacts.

If it was safe, Cusco where the Inca civilization was. I could use a bit of that 200 billion dollars worth of lost gold.

Or maybe the Aztec ruins. At least there's no curse and a path of death for their gold.

Federal Reserve Vault. I know there USED to be gold there!
