I realy like hearing y'all talk about helping charities out, some damn good people round here! I would love to help out some local people around here who could realy use it, set up my family & kids with homes, donate some to the local animal shelter etc, buy a realy big house on some acreage outside of town, buy a big RV & take my girl and my dog on a cross country detecting trip! Of course I would imediately start preparing for my death & purchase a cushy casket completely encrusted with rare gems..........but wouldnt we all?

I would buy a car for the family(right now we have no car at all). Maybe a Honda or a Nissan or something maintenance free and good on gas. I would buy a nice hunting rifle and I would do some repairs on my 100+ year old home and property. I would get a full set of dentures because having a toothache that never goes away but only changes in intensity is maddening. That's right, I'd have every tooth in my skull removed and replaced with fake ones.
Then I would hire Clark Howard and have him advise me on investing it so that my family is financially secure for life.

I would probably continue to work at my job.

If I won that kind of money, what would I do?

Hubby and I have talked about this. We don't want to go to extremes and waste the money. We would probably live the same life we have now with just a few extra's and not worry about how the bills are going to get paid. We would buy a bigger house, but not in the "rich" section of town. Hubby would get his truck that he has always dreamed of, I would be able to get my mini van and another little car for around town running that is good on gas and maintenance. We would give 10 % to church, give some to charity, and give a set amount to relatives to help them out. The rest of the money would be put into an account where we could only draw a certain amount each month to live on.

First there'd be the 10% tithe. (5 mil)
Well, I'd give my folks, sister, best friends and wife's family a million each. (18 mil)
Then there'd be 10% to charities. (23 mil)
Then there'd be a million for us and the kids (who needs more than that!?!). (24 mil)
Then I'd give half a million to each one of my 50 or so TNet friends..... (49 mil)
Then that last million I'd use to travel around the world with my wife..... (50 mil)

We'd inherit whatever was left from our folks anyway. My TNet friends could all afford to go to the
Treasure Hunts they want to. Traveling would keep people from contacting us about money, plus we
will have given most of it away.
A couple of my friends are former military and part of the deal for a million would be they provide
bodyguard service for my daughters while I'm away.

First Id hire a law firm and accountant then start a LLC holding corporation,so no one could sue me and get my cash/s.
20% would be spent on charity/donations
20% would be given to family anonymously
(hence the LLC)
then know one would be knocking on my door i could give them the "I got the same check also "

30% socked away in varies local and Swiss accounts

If I won the lottery I would off all my bill and and my kids bill. Then I would put my money so it would draw some intest. I would take my intest and help someone in need a couple times a year. It everyone that had millions of dollars would help 2 family every year this county would be a better place to live in. Just think If you helped a family that makes under 30k a year by getting them a car or a home. It would make you fill good that you did something wonderful. Well that what I would do....Matt

Hmmm.. I wouldn't let money change me too much. I would buy lots of land in the states. Open up a sanctuary for stray & injured animals of all types, employ a couple of vets. I would accept all donations & forward them to children in need. I might even adopt a few children...
I would have very large gardens FULL of flowers & wildlife.
Once that was all under control I would go take a long long break Arrowhead hunt on my own land..

Also take good care of the people that matter to me.
Be nice to leave this earth knowing I had done some good.
