Seems like Humboldt park is a common thread in this thread. I've got pictures of my grandmother there taken in 1915. Sounds like it would be a promising area for a group hunt. Bomber can bring his grill, and whoever is left standing when the shooting stops can help the cops hunt for expended shell casings!

Try the Street View version of GoogleEarth (I think) for Humbolt Pk. It shows the curb construction there on the "outer drive".

If I wasn't going to Rockford this weekend for a FragFest I might try to get together with you folks. (My other hobby, marine reef aquariums. No less expensive, trust me)
