I'm keeping this ring!

What a perfect evening to hunt. Just during sunset. Cool air and easy to dig earth. Out popped this silver ring. A solid 90 VDI. It fits like it was made for me. It was almost like detecting in heaven!

That's a sweet one Ridley, congrats! I love the way a quality piece of jewelry or a silver coin comes out of the hole all shiney and stuff. What a rush huh! You work it hard and deserve all you get, WTG!!! Thanks for sharing!!

BTW... here's a little photo posting thing I learned. If you re-size the photos to 700 pixils wide, they fit perfectly on the TNet screen without having to scrool over to see the whole photo. I am far from the photo expert...lol, but this has worked well for me to make a nicer layout on the post. I write too much though...lol

I'm using a 21" monitor. I had no idea the photo looks too big at 1100 pixels. I also use Firefox. Maybe that's why I can see the whole thing. I have noticed other peoples photos seem too small. Then others are way too big.

well... didn't think of that bud, 21" is a nice one. A guy at work bought a 42" monitor...lol, that was incredibly huge. I think that would collapse my poor computer stand.

How do my posts look on yours as I size them to 700 or 710 wide?
Do they look normal or out of proportion with the typing above?

Your photos look fine size wise. To tell you the truth I never noticed how big they were ( too busy being dazzled by what's in them)

I'll slim mine down to 710 so others don't have to scroll.

Nice find there, Ridley. You seem to always find a ring or something good each time you go out detecting.

The size of your pic is fine. I wish more people would post a nice sized photo like yours. Then we can really see what you've found. The size of your monitor has nothing to do about being able to see the photo entirely or having to scroll to see the rest of it. It depends on your pixel resolution you've set your video card to. Try changing your screen resolution in the control panel to a higher resolution and vwalla, a nice looking photo with no scrolling required.

I'd love to find one like that myself. I'd wear it.
You picture fills my screen perfectly, almost like you had my screen size in mind (15.4 wide screen - laptop).
Most peoples pictures look fine on my screen, but occasionally someone posts IMAX pictures and I have to scroll, but yours is perfect.

Nice going bro......I had a similar situation at a tot lot last night in SE Missouri. I was in an area where there were wood chips and about 6 to 8 inches down was weed barrier. It stopped any coins from passing through to the ground. Talk about a target rich environment. Well anyway, I hunted for about 40 minutes and walked out of there with 9 quarters, 4 dimes, 15 pennies and my first ever half dollar! It was a 71 Kennedy. Oh yeah, I am not done with that place!

Easy diggin and lots of bounty - Gotta love it.
