I'm new but I already have become addicted to this site !!

I love TreasureNet !! I have been so impressed by how kind and supportive all the members are.
I was given a metal detector for Christmas a year ago. I have not spent much time hunting with it, but I plan to do so this weekend !!

I agree with Stacey 100%. Sometimes i feel like a dog chasing a car. Once its caught I dont know what to do with it. I find lots of whats-its and dont know what they are, but they sure are a hoot digging them up!

One piece of advice though. WE LIKE PICTURES OF ANYTHING YOU DIG, FIND OR OTHERWISE AQUIRE!!

NO NO its not too late. Just think of all the sore knees and backs. the endless arguments with the wife over muddy boots and clothes. the frustration of only finding junk while everyone else is finding gold and silver. its not too late quick sell your detector and buy some golf clubs or a bowling ball.

I hope this is how you reply to the post ?? I'm a girl > hope that is OK ?? I already have the bowling balls in the flower garden, bought my husband a set of golf clubs at a yard sale > left handed clubs > he's right handed !! so I think I might have to go with treasure hunting !!

welcome to the gang, and can't wait to see your finds. This site is extremely addicting. I am not around a computer most weekends and I if I don't have the detecting in my hand I go through withdrawls. When I get back in I just want to post and read. Good Luck

Well I had to go and look. It is a Pioneer EX , Walmart Special It does the job pretty good. My husband lost his best pocket knife in a field while stopping to work on the equipment. He came to the house , got my detector, and found his knife !! He has also found property stacks buried underground after he purchased some land. I might have to upgrade though after my first Civil War Sword !!

I am excited to hunt tomorrow !! I've got 3 days off from work and I plan to spend it hunting !! I really hope I find some interesting things as I am surrounded by farm land and old home sites.
