IMPORTANT UPDATE Directions- 10/11/06 Hunt!!! In Oct.

Re: UPDATED 8/08/06 T-Net Forum Hunt!!! In Oct.

If you're going to the hunt, PE me with the information you want on your nametag(s). I'm making them up ahead of time. For example:

Your handle ("Noodle")
Your real name, or as much of it as you want to use
Your location, if you wish to share
Anything else you find appropriate in a family setting that will fit.

For those of you bringing guests, you can send me that information too, or I will just leave the name blank for them to fill in.

The hunt logos will be on them, along with the date. I'll try to make them "Keepers."

Thanks,
Noodle

I was reading a little bit on Missouri and found this for people staying and sightseeing. I don't know how up to date it is though.

That is correct Stoney, and they should send you the time periods you can detect and the months. I "think" you can only detect during off swimming season, but I don't rightly remember. I know there was some kind of stipulation in there. It is a completely free permit and you get it rather fast, just make sure you got that permit if you go to one of these parks. Detectors are NOT ALLOWED in MO state parks, unless they are on the above specified beaches with a permit.

Re: UPDATED 8/08/06 T-Net Forum Hunt!!! In Oct.

Got a question for you guys and gals going on the hunt. My other half has decided he might tag along, BUT he's not a hunter/digger. He wants to know if anybody is bringing along a guitar. He's a fiddle/violin man. Says he'll come if there's somebody for him to "play" with. :D I told him I thought he just might have the wrong crowd for that, but one never knows. We're talking bluegrass and gospel. Anybody want to play with my hubby or is anybody bringing along a guest that might want to play with my husband while we're doing our thing? Just throwing it up for grabs. I told him I would. THANKS! -Noodle

WooooBooy! Bluegrass--great music to dig to! Of course I learned never to drive with it playing, causes speeding tickets. :-[ LOL Wish I did play, though. :'(

Re: UPDATED 8/08/06 T-Net Forum Hunt!!! In Oct.

Well, if nobody has a guitar--what about a banjo? We know we can find spoons somewhere.

Can't you just hear those CW sounds coming back to haunt us as we dig our treasures??? "When Johnny Comes Marching Home Again" "Battle Hymn of the Republic" "Way Down Upon the Swannee River" "Devil Went Down to Georgia" Heck, I might even bring my keyboard. ;D

Re: UPDATED 8/08/06 T-Net Forum Hunt!!! In Oct.
