These points were collected last year. They are made of Tallahatta quartzite. Actually better described as sandstone. Found in southern Alabama, in a creek, they were all found I one area, within a two hour period. Amazing, the different periods represented.

That little bird point looks like it is as sharp as a pin. Nice finds for sure!

Nice quartzite examples. I dont find many made from it in my area.
 
very good finds,:thumbsup: folks in my area thought they were finding Tallhatta for years, but I found the bed of quartzite about 2 years ago just north of this area.
