Iron question on my pitch program answer.

Just wondering if maybe some peoples complaints are coming from those big rusty flat washers or large square nuts? Any other tricks other than listening for that slight iron grunt at the end when pulling the coil back off the target? Thanks again for all the videos and real world testing...

I've been running PITCH (when I get out) for about a year.
Not a lot of time on it, but it is amazing.
The one problem I have is the flat pieces of rusty tin.
Say about 2" square or so hitting like good targets.
Do you have any tricks that will cut them out or at least give a better idea of them being tin?
My yard has been burnt over twice back in the gold rush days and the cabins square nails and pieces of rusty tin roofing drive me nuts.
I will say one thing though....
The DEUS is the only one that can handle it

No easy tricks Tedyoh and hunting dog some things are just hard to deal with. One trick though for all learning or using the program listen to the audio very close and some nuances will show themselves sometimes on certain items.

Calabash, thanks for the video. I was going to ask if you still use the HOT program as done on the old LF coils. If so, do you have to shift the tone breaks any for HF coils? I know the VDI is tracked on the HF coils, but not sure if it was on LF (or if it mattered).

I saw the DFX video. Do you have a V3i to try as well?

I dont shift any tone breaks. I dont use the use the hot program. I dont have a V3I but wished I did...

It's just best to dig the flat washers and big bolts. Sometimes buttons materialize in the same hole!

You got that right, some iron targets are unavoidable if you want to find the good targets.

Good stuff. I was able to adjust the pitch on my At Max. I was over a heavy patch of iron and it started buzzing, grunting, crackling, crackling, crackling.. while it was making these god awful noises i swung it with all my might and smashed it into a tree. For a brief second the pitch was different... but only before it smashed into 100 pieces.

love the video, that was very clear and precise. also loved the fact that you showed how the tone was for brass, silver, lead etc and that there was subtle tone differences but definitely differences. great explanation on the disc too. pretty awesome program

Ive experimented with the pitch program but I just seem to have less problems with iron when I stick with full tones zero disc. Bigger iron sounds better in pitch than in full tones

Its just a time thing toasted. Big iron gives itself away in pitch too.
