Metal Detecting
Went Back to one of my honey holes today. It's a place where I have found a few Mercs, a Barber dime, and tons of clad. Today I thought I'd hit a new area. First 2 plugs each produced a Wheat penny and my 3rd hole I found my 1st Barber quarter (1894) :hello2:. Swung the detector from 9:30 AM until 1:45 PM. Dug a total of $15.40 in clad (mostly quarters). Finding a coin like a Barber really feeds the fire and keeps this passion moving towards an obsession. Love this hobby!!! :love4:
3rd silver of the year.

Today's haul. I did find a dollar coin hiding in the stacks of quarters.

Thanks for looking, and as always HH...

Any hunt that produces silver is a great hunt in my book, Congrats!!

That's a lot of clad too.

Good job saving that sweet barber and tons of clad is always good too !

nothing wrong with a ton of clad and of course a sweet barber quarter, sometimes the more worn it is, in my opinion, the better it is

great digs!!

Congrats on your first Barber quarter. Finding silver made before 1900 is a whole lot of fun. It's what keeps us all inspired and coming back for more. Heading out to one of my favorite spots this morning looking for old stuff. Pulled a half real and my first seated half dime out of this spot. You never know what the next swing of the loop could bring. Thanks for sharing.

Grats on the silver save! I love those Barbers!

Barbers are so pretty,congrats.

Quite a day there. Keep it up and you could do it for a living...LOL

Good to get some of that "Barber" confidence - does a soul good.

Wow, anything that starts with a 18 really is a great find!! :notworthy:
