I spent a week in Orlando and got some of this stuff. I've sold alot that I bought while there. This is what I have left. Should I try cleaning the silver? I fear I may somehow damage it. Any idea on a value for the coin silver spoons or the pearls? The necklace is huge. Any idea on the resale value of it?

I got the 4 coin silver spoons for $15.

I also got the giant silver necklace for $15.

I picked up the two souvenir spoons, the sterling pin, and the tie clips for $5.

I picked up the silver tongs for $15. Any idea on the makers?

I'm not sure if these are real fresh water pearls or not. They were in a large lot of jewelry I pay $8 for. They were in a separate zip lock baggie with a price tag of $55. They are marked sterling and did test positive for it. Also has the matching earrings that are also marked. I also found this in sterling necklace w/pendant in that lot. I'm not sure what the stone is. Any ideas?

Sorry the pics are all out of order. I'm not sure how to put them in order

The marks on the spoons "coin silver metal" is a mark that was used by the Niagara Silver Company circa 1899-1905. The pendant could be jade.

I was thinking jade as well.

Nice buys. Thanks for sharing...

The black "stones" in the pearl necklace are called peacock stick pearls. It appears you have 3 types of freshwater pearls on that necklace. Don't know the maker though. That tag says L's or C's? Looks like L's.

Thanks Diggummup! I've been trying to find info on those spoons for two weeks and haven't been able to. Thanks for the info on the pearls. It does say L's. I haven't been able to find any info on them. Also thanks to you and GibH I did a little research and found my necklace/pendant selling on Ebay for $40. It is Jade.

Sadly, I just sold a bunch of 1830's sterling silverware signed from England and got UNDER MELT. Just goes to show that no silver carries a premium anymore. Sorry.
Pearls look like seed pearls. Rub em on your teeth. Are they gritty?

Sorry. Pearls look like seed pearls. Rub em on your teeth. Are they gritty?
I'm no expert on pearls but those pearls are too large to be considered seed pearls. Freshwater- I would say so, irregular in shape- yes, seed pearls- no. Seed pearls weigh less than 1/4 of a grain and are less than 2mm in size.

Sorry for the late replys. It's been a long week.

Diggummup- So 21% nickel silver... Does that mean that they aren't really coin silver(90% silver)? Also I sold the pearl set for $30 to a friend who loved their color. I think it was a fair deal for both of us.

Omega- I'm not sure what I should do with the spoons. Would ebay be best? I only have $15 in it so it shouldn't be hard to make a profit on them.

I would say so. To my knowledge the Niagara Silver Company only made plated goods. The mark refers to them using coin silver instead of sterling to plate with. Here is a photo of their letterhead-
