What type of coin is this and...

It is silver. Found on the beach. I think it's stamped in the corner though with the word Bahamas. Weighs 1.23 grams and is about the size of a dime.

Is it real or is it fake? What has me wondering is I found it in the same spot I'm finding old bronze ship nails.

yep very cool find. I just wonder if kapidr was around long enough to read it? Sometimes I take the time to help and never hear a word back or even a simple acknowledgment or to disagree would be fine too. I guess thats common here at TN and I need to get used to it. Hes probably out metal detecting looking for another and will reply in a few days. But sometimes I feel if the OPs wont bother to read it, why should I bother to help?

I think hes more the acception to that.I appreciate your feedback cause I learn from it and alot of us do.

Maybe he thinks its authentic and wont acknowledge it. I have seen that happen here before.



oops she im sorry. She hasnt posted since May 4 so probably just hasnt read it yet thats all.
