It's not what I found...it's what I lost!

My frigging BlackBerry! I was hunting a huge area with relatively long grass for most of the morning. I decided to try another field and when I got into the car I went to check my emil and my BB and case was gone. The clip was still on my belt but the rest was gone! I checked the car and then started checking the field. I searched for an hour and then drove into town and called my wife on a pay phone and asked her to call my BB for the next hour...still no luck...it's gone! I've had a BlackBerry for the past 10 years and cannot get a replacement until Tuesday...I'm lost! The bright side is I now have an excuse to get Z10!

I lost a smart phone elk hunting a couple of years ago. A week later my partner found it in the snow, in its case and still working. I had already bought a new one because I never thought it would be found.

I used to keep mine on a belt clip, but one day walking towards the door into work, it opened suddenly and knocked my phone right out of the holder and cracked the screen. I now where denim painters pants which has a pocket on the right leg, just the right size to hold my phone. Been doing this and have yet had any phone issues. I even wear them when I dirt fish so I can keep my phone on me when I am hunting in an area far from my vehicle. If I hunt an area were my vehicle is easily accessible I leave my phone in the vehicle.
