I dug this piece up and thought it was an old shotgun brass. But as soon as I picked it up I knew I was probably wrong. It is heavy and seems to be made out of lead and maybe iron because of the rust? Tried cleaning it a little bit. And a few letters have appeared on one side
It says either IBC. TBC or JBC. Well it already says BC. Any ideas on this? It is about the size of a nickel. I was possibly going to use electrolysis to clean it further. But didn't want to lose the letters or damage it in case it is a keeper
