I got a silver ring and a mood ring, some clad and odds and ends. I wonder how long it takes silver to tarnish in fresh water cause this one took a little elbow grease. The really strange thing is it was about a foot away from where someone with a water shovel had been digging cause a little further away you could see where he emptied all the stones after shoveling. All I can say is he wasn't very thorough in his searching cause it was only probably about 5 or 6 inches down in the sand.

Way to stick it out, Giant! I have a feeling there are a few metal detectorists out there there looking for instant returns. Not knowing what it takes to get the good stuff.

Hey Giant! Nice going. Have you noticed how the finds in the local swimming holes are getting thinner all the time. Less gold too! :(

Most definitely Mike! I haven't found a gold ring in the water this year yet but I have found silver rings.
