June 11th my first water hunt of the year

[Giant056]

I got 2 junk rings and a silver one, a little clad and some odds and ends. The water is not real warm yet but with a few more of these hot days like we're supposed to be getting it will be a lot warmer.

Nice rings, Giant. Glad you are getting out.

Nice save on the fish hook too....ouch!

Nice looking ring

Good ring find. That lead head jig is a good reason not to go bear foot.

Nice hunt Giant056.....silver is a good start to the water hunting season.
Good that you removed the other "junque" items from the site.

Haven't done water yet. What's the best way to dig for it in water??

I use a long handled sand scoop but I'd like to get something bigger sometime I could use like a shovel. There are some lakes around that are all stones and the sand scoop don't get it.

Very nice finds.

Your junk even looks good. Nice cleaning job.

Nice

[DaleGM]

it only gets better as the summer beach hunts get started, hot days warm eves and cold beers.... life's good

Thanks for all the great replies everyone treasure diver about the only thing I did clean up was the silver ring cause it was tarnished a little. Most everything looks like it was lost recently cause a quarter in the water for more than a day or two starts to tarnish. One of the park staff had said they were packing them in for the past couple of days. I'll probably be out early Saturday morning at one of the county lakes in the water cause the 90 degree weather will be here tomorrow and they'll be in the water.
