Most junk gets deleted. I wonder why yours dont. You're happy because they delete things YOU DON'T WANT TO SEE, not because of any rules being maintained. You pretty much said so yourself.

Some forums, more appropriately (like another forum I used to visit), call the buttons "Friends and Foes". Friends posts remain, but the foes' posts don't appear . . . nor topics that they start.

you are right KK. I do not want to see it ON THIS forum. I come here to NOT see the political stuff. I DO GO to other forums and I do participate in political issues. That is why I don't want it here. It isn't wanted here and I respect that and absolutely want the rules maintained so I do not have to read it.
I come to TN for family fun website and keeping it that way is important. After all, we can't let everyone have their own way. There are forums for every issue under the sun and it is super easy to find them.

ignore button is used on topics that don't interest you or if another poster gets on your nerves. IT IS not to ignore a poster who is posting about topics not allowed anyway.

Do you think it is right for a poster to constantly post about a subject that is not allowed on a forum due to the rules?

There are tons of free forums to be made on the web. You should start one then the content and rules can be your own. You run the show. They are not hard to set up. Maybe you should shift over and go for it and just leave this forum alone.

Ignore button is there to ignore threads, forums or people with posts you do not care for, but which are still with in TreasureNet rules..

Report post button is there for members to report other members who are BREAKING TreasureNet rules.....It is used a lot and admins and moderators appreciate it when members do as we are not able to read all posts or follow up on some threads often enough...Those reports we deem are valid we take action on those we deem are not we don't.....

I agree KK. I did overstep. I tried to write it mild but when someone pushes and pushes against an issue that is so super simple (politica posts not allowed on this forum) and doesn't grasp that, then I kicked in with some snide comments. after all, you can push a sane person only so far
