A good friend of mine has an awesome collection. I stopped by last week & took a lot of pics.This is a pipe from Ky. Wood duck effigy.

What is the history on the pipe?

Is that a slate ax partially in the photo?

I'm not sure the history. I should have asked but he had so much stuff I just kind of walked around drooling. It had the county listed on the bottom on a sticker.

That is the Crittenden Co. Ky. Effigy Pipe.

Yea undamaged slate axes are not common by any stretch
