These few pieces are what a lot of you find in an hour! But I have hours of fresh air and sunshine and miles of new creeks tied up in these . I know the "nutting stone" maybe questionable, I've read about omars...but this one has a divot in the middle of both sides, so it's possible..and the mano? maybe not, but found in the same area I have found 3 other thinner ones..so it's a maybe too. the only whole point is that triangle, and it's the first triangle for me. Wish the big white one wasn't broken, it's got nice flaking...

happy hunting y'all!!

I would call that a DANG good day, great finds:thumbsup:

Nice hunt.. is that a little red drill I see?

Those are some great finds, and the mano looks like the real deal to me. I'd call your finds a great day. If I find one or two points in a day, I'm tickled.

oops! Sorry...I meant to say these are from about 5 outings this summer, that's why I called it slow. And yes, I think that is a drill or graver. sorry for the crappy pictures, I usually do better. If that's a drill, it's another first for me. and the little triangle was found in the same spot after another rain. It's the washed bank of a new pond dug right in the middle of a field.

All looks good to me. Anytime you can find something worked is always a good hunt IMO. Been raining here everyday so no hunting for me for a while.

Nice finds NG!! Very productive day!!!

Sometimes a post will make it look easy but I feel your smile in all those miles. Cograts on the first drill and triangle. You always find good things. I have been metal detecting haha. Nice to see some artifacts 8-)

Looks as though you had a few good trips to the woods. I say yes to the mano. When I hunt the desert I flip rocks all day long and usually come off the desert with one or two. Probably have 30 or more good ones that I have kept plus giving just as many away.

There are no bad days hunting just some days are better than others.

Thanks guys!:hello: All the water is back up again, but this fall looks like it's going to be a blast, especially after the mosquitos go away.

Everything looks good to me. I usually don't bring home the Nutting Stones, but even I would have brought that one home. It's a pretty nice one.
