Found another homesite way back in one of the fields I got permission to hunt yesterday. Found about 15 flat buttons as well. Dug one half of the trime and then found the other half about 5 feet away. Too bad the the quarter is holed and all beat up but at least its whole:laughing7:

killer day wish I had the guts to ask permission..lol oh well woods relic hunting for me nice finds wow

No one has ever detected where I live. The ease at which I find these sites year after year is all the proof that I need.
good for you toasted that is soo cool nice historical saves there :)

That looks like it has the potential to be absolutely incredible, based on that first trip through- GL on your next trip! Next month starts year 32 of MDing for me, and I've yet to find a whole, half or a quarter of a trime :BangHead:
this is the year Jeff, good luck

Nice digs! I had to laugh. When I saw the first pic of the trime halves I said to my self a little super glue will fix that.

great finds for sure

Great digs there ! I'm actually curious as to what would cause a break like that in the trime - it's such a clean break , as though it snapped .

I assume the farmers plow did it. Doesnt take much to break these. Ive found little pieces in the river, cracked ones in farm fields and once found one that snapped in half when trying to clean it.
