Can anyone identify what this? Obviously it's broken, but I can't tell if it's a point or some other kind of tool. Found in NW Florida. Thanks in advance!

from what I can determine from the photos, the relics has old breaks and is a mid-section area from what could be a large knife or blade, may even could have been a chipped celt. Hard to say from such a relic section for me.

There looks to have mineralization on the break area which would make me think its been broken a while.

The break area does not have as much mineralization but still does not look fresh to me.

What you found is very common in Florida. These are some similar ones from Pasco & Marion counties. The cross section is the same too. I feel they are blades & not preforms as I have a lot of tips with similar cross sections. Very thin for their size . Not trying to jump on your post but thought you'd like to see these.
