Well

Same story nothing else to do but projects at home and some detecting.

Monday I met my brother at an old swimming pool defunct and pulled up 25 old coins and 7 silver dimes.

Wed I took my youngest son out wich is rare cause he hates the woods and hunting but he got a little Corona fever so I set him up with the vanquish and we hit an old wooded area

Grabbed a half dozen coins including a nice SLQ

Today I went back to the wooded area its large and worked a noll and came away with an Elgin sterling case hit a 40 on the nox.

And a sterling 925 fine handle off something. Picked up some older relics. The Monarch thing has me scratching my head.

Off an old car possibly?

I'm beat up had a big tree branch fall on the house yesterday with the 75 plus mph winds and storms we got yesterday.

Just trying to stay busy through this tougher time

Thanks for looking

Jer

That is a serious amount of silver- Congrats! The SLQ appears to end in 0, and has a mm, so 20-D or S or 30-S- very nice!

Nice work Jeremy. Great haul on the silver. Is the cigarette case functional?

Thanks guys

Yes I've been really fortunate to be able to find sites that are producing

Feeling it though in my knees and back. Need a few days off to re group. Getting older sucks.

Its prob a 20s found it with a Indian shot with a BB gun twice.

Steve,

The pin is rotted out on it. It's in two peices with the little holders still there. Probably was whole when lost found it together filled with dirt.

It's from the 1930s. Weight is 165 grams. Was surprised to see it come out. Knew it was silver right away. Was hoping it was filled with coins.

JerV3,

Great haul well done that handle is probably from a brush set I remember my aunt having a brush and mirror set with silver handles when I was a kid similar style. Hope the little guy gets over his bug.

Holy schnickies. Those are some amazing finds. The sterling case is killer. Way to go! I gotta try and find some defunct pools in my neck of the woods.
