Nice finds Gregg, thats alot of digging and closing in on $700. After todays 18 coins, including two wheats(17, 18) I'm at 9040 coins and a total of $753.33. I might get to 10,000, but not sure!! Anyways, super totals and nice Merc too!! Silver is always a thrill!!
Thanks Jack you were the first one I thought of when clearing $700.... I only consider those that have actually posted their finds....great work....looks like $800 is there for you....
I just looked at my logs from last year....I from this date to the end of last year hunted 23 more times...fingers crossed...so you can do it...I know you can...I thought about slowing down...but running through so many programs now trying to gain some depth to decide if dfx will be my #1 or #2 detector next year.... If you see Explorer Gregg... or F-75 Gregg...or the one I was thinking about dfx explorer Gregg you know what happened!
If I can get a couple more 200+ coin days with decent quarter counts I'll get $800. I'll be swinging all winter, rain or sleet!! When the snow hits the ground I head to the woods and I may only find ten coins a week, those ten coins are usually all keepers!! I'm just not smart enough to stay in the warmth!! Hopefully you'll choose the detector that will suit your needs, and only you know that. BUT, DFX, Explorer, or F-75, I don't think you'll go wrong. One thing is research those Parks near you to see where the older activity was a few hundred years ago...when you find silver, start gridding and dig everything deep, see what comes out of the ground. I know, I know, you know that already, but since you changed your detecting a little, more silver should be popping up!!
