I had some time to kill one day last week so I thought I'd hit a local one-room schoolhouse that was in operation from 1813-1856. Not much was turning up, so I went to the rear yard behind an outbuilding and almost immediately got a strong penny/dime signal on my MXT at 3". I dug my hole and out popped this beautiful 1904 Barber dime in this condition...I barely had to wash any dirt off! Needless to say, it made my day!

Beautiful coin ! I am hoping to soon find some coins like that my oldest so far is a 1934 wheat penny and that made me grin from ear to ear if I found a Barber like yours I would have to sit and stare at it til I caught my breath . WTG !

Thanx for the kind words one and all! I will definately be heading back there soon. I'm waiting to hear about permission on a 350+ acre site where some scalpings took place a while back. All the positive mojo you can send this way will help!
