Here is my latest piece, it comes from Central Texas..........

2 7/8" long, x 1 1/4" wide at widest point, Less then 1/4" thick.........Rootbeer Flint...

Kinney points are a medium to large unstemmed, thin biface, with a concave base, most likely used as knives. They are found in the Northern portion of South Central Texas........From the Middle Archaic period, 2000-5000 years old.....

When I lived in Missouri I use to hunt the fields when the snow melted after snow storms, even hunted creeks then. Not as productive as the rest of the year, but I found nice points in dead of winter. I remember finding a really nice point on New Years day one year.....
