Pie Dad the biggest piece of the pie goes to the father .. the biggest triangle goes to the Pie Dad . think about it , he tells the Zuni the Spanish well find gold and take their people for slaves for the mines and he tells a whopper of a golden city and they hide away everything so the Spain will leave them for the church to filter gold back to Rome shaped like bells ...that's why the Jesuit treasure is sent back to the tunnel when the king of Spanish chases the Jesuits out ...after a few massacres no one knew where the tunnel was any more .. but the pie Dad father of the church made the stone maps ... and latter the Peralta /Ruth map , this Pie Dad had some mad skills ...he ties the treasures up for 500 years ! see the bell for this church would have been real . who would think the other bells were made of gold or silver , so if they check the bells they would check the smallest bell because it would be the easiest... see its not the Spanish that made the bells .. its the Jesuits that's playing the shell game ....that's why the Spanish could not read the stones ...they were coded by the father at the Pie Dad church ...we know the treasure was still in the tunnel in 1959 ...I think the jewels are still hidden at this church as well ...he is not stupid , he got the biggest piece of the pie ...this means the Vatican stole wealth from the king of Spanish and that played a roll in the US states buying land from Spain.. this in a way bankrupted New Spain ...bad little pie dad ! ...lol

Nothing left in the cache or granary except a torch imbedded into the wall horizontally. The torch has a burned tip for a few inches. The only theory I have for the torch was perhaps as the rock and mud was nearly completed the torch was lit maybe to preserve the contents of the cache?? I can’t think of any other theories.

listen to me Crowfriend . go back and measure the length of the torch then lite the torch and let burn till the tip burns for a few inches . this will tell you how long the person was in there . all you have to do is time it and see how long they were in there ., that will tell you what took place ..always remember ."its not what you see ,its what you don't see "

Why trap it if empty. How deep is the hole? Was this somewhere in AZ?
Sorry for all the questions- I'm always curious. Not sure what you meant by preserving the contents.

I have over 20 pictures of this area and I found that some of the writing is over top older images ... I think I some of the areas there are as many as 5 or 6 layers of writing and art work ...I have to go back and get a good look at the area from different angles .not to much goes in near trap canyon . its a long ways to hike and takes most of the day to get out there ..

but then again you bring up a real good point and I have been waiting to isolate this in the topic ... is it the lack of skills of the hunters or is it just a lack of open - mindedness , that's not to say its a bad thing , just the way people are raised in the modern world . Waltz was not raised in the modern world .but with so many people look and with out finding it then is it there still or is it where it can not be found or is it the state of mind and being of those who look for it ...with my soul and spirit I can find it easy and I just let my sul draw me back to it .. but the modern human dose not have the same realities as the old drums ... sorry its not a bad thing it is just a different way of life and death and faith in ones own soul ...

When Bowman talks about his spiritual beliefs or experiences in that regard, I seperate that from hard facts, and would not call it bs. What am I supposed to do with? I don't know lol. I have an open mind about things, but never had a coyote come and have a conversation with me. He has visions and beliefs which he can't prove to us, but no one can prove Jesus turned water into wine. No big deal to me. Doesn't harm me. When I was little i was fascinated by Indians.
And Aztecs, Mayans. Some things he says are reminiscent of stories from people who first encountered Indians, and were shown inexplicable things by shamans. Maybe Bowman read too many Indian stories as a child
I'm not gonna laugh at it unless he prefaces his statements with "so I was smoking Red Bud or using peyote or I was blind drunk..."
If we live long enough some of us can recognize a bs'er pretty quick.
There are a lot of people who think the LDM, or any treasure legend, is bs from the start.
If he was asking for money cause some spirit could lead him to a pit full of gold, that would be another matter.

yes and I have build custom motor cycles from the bare frame up for over 16 years . and I am going riding in a few .. I will ride about 100 miles today and work a few things for a friend and I don't get paid for it but he can call me night or day and in 5 minutes I will be on bike going to help him . he is chef of the Mohawk nation and he has my respect and yes he thinks a lot like I do ... I grew up in that world in that reality . You bring up something which may not truly interest the usual Dutch hunter. Maybe you should have called the thread Spiritual vs. Reality, as some might think you were referring to the usual legends around LDM.
By the way, I have a sister in law who always said she was Black Dutch. She is olive skin, black hair. Early German immigrants were called dutch, which was a corruption of Deutche, as you know.
Anyway, the Indians did look at the world in a very different way. Most people seem to have lost connection with their intuition, their senses and soul.
As a side note, generations lately like to draw attention by proclaiming they do not believe in God. But they then decide they are pagans,druids,witches, and fail to see the irony.
A lot of hunters are more aware of higher senses. When you are in the woods you do seem to be in a different world. Perhaps it is just connecting with primal instincts. Like that feeling when you are staring into the flames of a campfire.
When I was younger I shot a buck on a ridge. Had to circle until I found a spot of blood, found another, then another. Then the blood was flowing and I came to his body. He had the last laugh running into bottom of the holler where I would have to drag him back up that steep side. Anyhow, as I was cleaning him I remembered how the Indians often ate a piece of heart of deer, buffalo, or bear to gain their speed or other qualities. So I was compelled to try it. That was the worst tasting sliver of meat I ever ate in my life Not sure if it helped either.
People have a sense of something not right which should warn them of danger, but it is lacking or ignored nowadays. Maybe for most, the heightened awareness is no longer needed. Unless you happen to live around humans
