So the last 3 weeks have been terrible for CRHing halves in my area....until today. Had 4 more boxes to pick up for the week. Brought them home, I always check for enders in every box before starting...because I am an OCD freak. First three, nothing, par for the course..then BAM!

4 walking liberties staring back at me. Let the guessing begin! I have 3 boxes to go through then this one. Ill post up the results then.

There is a fine line between AU and MS-60. AU - Melt; MS-60 - $35. Also, check the '17 for an obverse mintmark. Congrats on the sweet cull of silver.

I think they are AU, one might be MS60 but ill check the photo grading page and see. No mm on the OB of the 17, unfortunately.

You know what, I would still set them aside from the rest of the pile. Put them in flips or tubes. When it comes time to sell and the buyer wants junk silver at melt, then they can have all the slick walkers and bald Bens that I have. AU or better, then the buyer will pay the premium.

Glad I picked up those last three boxes:

1) Skunk
2) 40, 41, 42x2, 43 (in AU)
3) 69

I was debating going back thinking that I would be a bother to the tellers. I called ahead and asked about the extras, they appreciated that I called ahead, and had no problem selling the coin. They are my best branch, the tellers are super nice.

Its funny, every time there is a big skunk streak the other CRHers in my area stop picking up their boxes. It happens once every 4-5 weeks, then it picks up for a few, and so forth. This is the third or fourth time I have bought stray boxes at the end of a skunk streak that contained a lot of silver. Lesson here is, stay consistent.
