Here's a few more, all from the same site. These were all found in 2014. The Stone Tool in the first two pics ended up being that large Hoe or Celt. I've only hunted this farm a few times and I'm just getting to find the hot spots. This Spring should bring some more goodies.

My only in situ picture. With other artifacts I've been too excited to take the time to take a pic and I yanked it of the ground right away haha

This is my favorite insitu from last year. I came close to popping it out of the ground, but caught myself.

Remember my recurent dream?
HOWEVER -- I have a pleasant recurring dream about three times a year in which I find beautiful and plentiful arrowheads. They're all perfect; sometimes other artifacts. Then I, in my dream, say "HEY! This is too good to be true, I'm dreaming." Then I wake up. True story.

Well, after looking at all the in situ photos last week, I had yet another recuring dream. Only this time, not all the points were flawless .... but there were many that were. I had three 1 quart ziplock bags full of points and I remember saying, "This cannot be a dream because they aren't all perfect." Then I found some 1960s plastic Tiki-heads from Hawaii and realized .... YES, it was a dream. Those Tiki heads were a real let-down, lemme tell ya.

Sheesh ... wish I could get the time to go out and look again. Y'all have been real great for vicarious thrills, so thank you very much for posting your in situ photos!

Carried it around all day and the oil from my hands darkened it up a little.

Can't tell a lot about the type, but that looks like a killer, Pick.

I just refuse to let this thread die, I guess. A couple of years ago, my boy and I were looking for sharks' teeth in a spot where I never thought of finding points. We had put in a couple of hours finding a few. He asked what time it was and when I told him, he said he had homework to tend to. Just as I was about to step into the water, this is what I saw. Luke took the picture and I let him pick it up. When he handed it to me, I held it up to the light. He said, "No way," and was right. It was like looking through a brick. I grabbed some wet sand and scrubbed it between my hands for a couple of minutes and what a difference. Sometimes I wonder how some points survive.
