Cows are very curious about anything new. If you make unusual noises they will come to see what is going on. They are very social animals. They like to be entertained.

Nice to have neighbors like that. Only issue is the smell of Ma Nature ain't so
pleasing on a hot, muggy August night.

No, they’re all cows and calves right now. The bull will be back after young are weaned and gone. When they take the calves away the cows will moan like crazy for two days. And they are loud!

Having a chat and a burger at a friends take-out joint.
While sitting outside at the picnic table, we got a very strong manure smell.
I commented "Well that's pretty ripe"
Cattle buyer replied: "Oh do love the smell of $$$$"

I find poop sometimes and a track as evidence cattle have visited my hunting property I maintain for wildlife; not cattle. They enjoy the browse though.
I smile because I know the stress of an owner(s) with stock loose.
But I'll catch the prime suspect one day (Neighboring property owner across the road) and cheerfully accuse him of free grazing on my property. Then offer to settle out of court for a load of aged manure being dropped off.
