it's odd more of them haven't been dug.
was a big thing for the girls at back woods parties here . late 60's ,
they would string the ones with tongues together and make belts, necklaces, head bands, vests etc.
I'm sure most ended up as litter after the party. somewhere in the 70's before they switched to the oval tongueless
types on cans a few enterprising people tried selling clothing in places like rolling stone ,
but because of the switch was a little too late
