Many of the old Treasure Magazines continually advertise Long John Latham's Treasure/Rockhound Ranch.
Is this associated with your web site?
Does anyone know if the Ranch is still in business and how does one go to get more information on it.

Long John was quite a character in the early days of metal detecting. I really doubt his "ranch" is still in operation.

Long John's dream is probably long gone, BUT there is a place where you can camp & metal detect as long as you wish FOR FREE. It is The Slabs just outside Niland Cal. near the Salton Sea. Been there, done that. Frank
