Looks old,smells old,what is it ?

[RTR]

I think its a Casket jewelry Box. But I'm not sure. Bottom has stamped JB 334 (in 2 different locations). Its 3"high,4.50" wide,3" front to back.Weight =14.5 ozs.
Any idea what the JB 334 stamps are ? What its made of ? How old it is ,and value ?

With yellow cloth lining.

After 2 hrs. in the above vibrator this is how it turned out. Most of the crud & tarnish(of 100 years) have been remover ..........Now I'm thinking of giving it a final finish coat of 24K Gold leaf

Before & after Pix. !

Bring it all the way home >> https://www.goldenleafproducts.com/...hvVLovQsH695nYSVeVo5rlq57NI2groMaAhqNEALw_wcB
