Magnetic stone

Went to the good will today and bought a bag of gems and stone and these were in the bag. We are hoping to fine any info about what they may be. Any info is greatly appreciated. They are 2 different stones. The one has earth magnets on it. The other is not magnetic. Thank you in advance.

This seem to be a great place to find minerals and crystals.. the goodwill I mean.. as for the stones themselves.. the first is defiantly agate based (internally) but the outer shield resembles carnelian.. But could also be place in the Thunder egg class.

As for the second images.. you'll have to await others on this one. I do not see any clear definition. Unless it's simple some sort of slap ore.

Thank you StoneWhisper. Yes it is amazing as to what you can find at a Goodwill. This will help with more research and we will wait and see what other may say. I failed to message about the magnetic stone having what may look like copper or maybe pyrite in it.

The first one looks like a typical brazilian agate. The second one, magnetite.
