Mahogany obsidian?

[Oregon Viking]

Found in Eastern Oregon. 5 inches x 4 inches.

Quite common. No less than about two dozen areas of Oregon have mahogany obsidian, the most prolific being Glass Butte.

Beautiful color and texture.

Time for more coffee.

That's an interesting looking type of obsidian, wonder if the natives made points with it back in the day.
