Found this in the yard of 1900s house, cleaning didn't work. Could make out L & nees, & natural. It's about 11/2" Dia.pretty Rusty,thanks for looking

Yes, it’s a face powder tin from the W.T. Rawleigh Company of Freeport, IL. They introduced the ‘La Jaynees’ brand in 1928, marketed as the “spirit of springtime and youth”. The range included loose face powder, face cream, blush and powder compacts, manufactured until the 1960s.

Given the small size, it might be a ‘free sample’ tin, like this vintage one, which is the same size as yours:

The formulation is unrecorded, but typically these kinds of face powders had some combination of things like talc, zinc oxide, milled rice/wheat/corn starch, magnesium/calcium carbonate and pigments such as iron oxide to create a natural skin-tone effect.
