That’s amazing that you found the broken loop! I think it would be worth having it reattached. There’s a fellow named Roland Frodigh in Virginia who I would recommend. Here’s his work on a mangled Indian Wars hat badge I found.

Thanks. Just lightly brushed it off with a soft dry toothbrush. The green patina is still present it’s the 2700k lighting that is making it look brown.

Wow! He did an amazing job straightening that piece back out. I like how he left the dug look. I will definitely keep him in mind when I’m ready to have the loop reattached. Thanks for sharing.
