Military debris

oh the finding of these MIA bones do not bother me in the least * since I do understand what hes doing ( finding MIA bodies and trying to help them get IDed hopefully via dog tags or other means )-- note **** I approve of what hes doing 100% +- I was just saying some folks might be creeped out by seeing "the bones of the dead of war" -- yes this is not a "issue" in russia I'm sure -- but this site ihas world wide range of members and vistors -- thus its seen by folks from all over the world.

I have seen "the dead of war" with my own eyes and smelled the stench of rotting bodies, I fully understand it is a part of war that folks die in them -- some folks do not want to see what the wars they so happily cheer and support -- really do -- it kills folks people , on both sides of any issue that your fighting about. --- as those who actually fight in wars have long known -- war is hell.

I am happy to see that someone cares enough to try and give these men a proper and decent burial at long last .

Bones are bones. Korsu and other field detectorists are risking their lives every time they dig a signal.

I do not see any difference between a fallen German, Sovjet, US, ++ Soldier. They fought and died and now- today someone help the family back home in their country to get a answer- and a grave.

Please continue to post photos of your work Korsu. I find it very interesting to follow. :) :coffee2:

Me too!
Nobody who didnt have seen soldiers found in the woods or in frontyards, like it happend here sometimes, can imagine that. It is good work to bring these men home! There are tehnts of thousands of soldiers still in the field, with relatives who didnt know where they are. Not only in russia. We have nearly 30 soldiers of the 99th US Inf. Div. and countless german soldiers still missing in action in a forest of a few squaremiles in the middle of western europe. And hundreds of them missing in a frontline of about 50 miles....
