military or what??? SOLVED

[Idaho hunter]

Hi all Found this a while ago in a football field and
was wondering if anyone could ID it. It is made of
9 k gold and the back side is just flat, no pin or anything. Idaho hunter

Re: military or what

Jeez what a beautiful gold piece!!!

I guess It could be American Navy Chaplain corps or Army .
Just beautiful!

Can we see the back any way?

Re: military or what

Not a U.S. military chaplain insignia. Strange that it appears to have the Buddhist Dharma Wheel under the Christian Christ on the Cross. Reformed Buddhist?

Could that wheel represent quartermaster?

My guess is patriotic Army sweetheart/personal Catholic item. Nice find.

Re: military or what

Are those screws above the wings?
Can you post a better pic or a side view?
Any markings on the back?
How did you determine 9K?

Does it have an anchor?

Yea I think SS got it. But instead of the anchor, it has the Great Seal eagle. My eyes dont see an anchor. It may be special made.

Re: military or what

If those are screws, I am wondering if someone attached an eagle to the anchor flukes.

Post a good close up pic of the back markings and its a good chance someone will know what it says and find an exact match. (I must have said that a thousand times )
