I found this after the flood waters of the Mississippi River receded in 1993 and have always wondered exactly what it was, it measures exactly 2" across and about .5" thick the rolled copper piece was found the same day. Any input on its purpose would be greatly appreciated! Made of Mississippian pottery

I was living on Columbia, MO in 93 and remember the floods clearly (Missouri river), they uncovered a lot of artifacts.

What’s the edge look like? Might be a game piece. I’ve found them in pottery and one stone. The stone one has a dimple on one side. I see yours has a hole.
