My mom has been going crabbing with a friend the past few weekends on the Chester river and every time I kept telling her look for points while your out there if you get a chance .... she found a killer point the pic she sent me did this thing no justice at all it wasn’t until I saw it today I realized how huge it was especially for around here .... she ran back or to boat to grab her phone and when she walked back up found another one 4 feet from the first. I was happy for her it’s been a while since she’s found one and it’s a smoker.

Here’s the other one which was pretty nice too

Yeah I hold onto her points for her so I’ll end up with it .... I made a display case for her points I keep at the house . which she does have quite a few she is the reason I got into hunting points when I was really young the house I grew up in was surrounded on all sides by farm land and every time they plowed and it rained we would be out there ..... some good times there was so many trips out that we both filled every pocket we had with points those fields were loaded. I didn’t realize how good those fields were until we moved and I started hunting elsewhere..... I miss them days

Sounds like good memories, I have a whole 5 gal bucket full of things I have picked up this year all kinds of material I have brought home. Lucky for me I found somebody who wants it or I would have to dump it back into a creek downstream from where I look of course. Im going to have to stop bringing them home unless Im positive its something just piles up.

I always think these people had a great supply of workable stone to use so much to make these size tools. Great post.
