Yes the elusive rodentia noturna rex alas has met the onslaught of the snowplow and is buried alive and is waiting for the spring thaw. Just imagine the size of the trap you'd have to lay for it. I hear they're suckers for corndogs and moonpies.
You guys keep in mind that if you have places the city is using to dump snow plowed off the streets, good place to detect when that melts down. Parking lots where they push it up to the edge produce too. Mainly clad, loose change, and a lot of work sorting the signals out. A $5,000 diamond ring was lost at the local wallyworld up here about 6 years ago, never found, and is probably somewhere out along the east edge of the lot where they push the snow up.
