My Almost Day.....

I got permission to hunt at a building I have had my eye on for some time....only one catch.....put on a program for the boy scouts. :-X

Well I went yesterday and got in 30 minutes before it began to rain. Today I went and stayed for about two hours. I really wanted to find something really old to add to the program I am going to give but it was not to be today....ALMOST but not quite. $:-\$

Here's the keepers I found........

A scout necktie thingy
Some sort of another thing that might attach to clothing
An ALMOST intact derby car
A key
An ALMOST skeleton key
ALMOST a wheatie
ALMOST four silver coins
The clad
And of course the bullet.

There are still so many things I left behind that I will have to give it another visit...I did have a good time today.

Congrats on all the clad, looks like the 70's payed off best.

I think the idea of finding anything in the ground that has been lost will interest the scouts. I don't think they care if it's 1 year old or 100 years old. Kid's recognize the possibilities, I think more than us adults.

Glad to see your passing on the itch. I always say "It's the hunt, not the kill".
