Gunner ,I just looked at your collection again. It's fantastic and I am sure you are very proud of it . I left Germany with about 25 roman coins but most are in very poor shape. A hunting buddy of mine over there had about 300 total and several were silver but he found one area that was loaded with them before I meet him . He said he was digging 20 a day until he could not find any more . Some guys have all the luck.LOL He told me the area where he found them but I did not find a single one there .It was still a lot of fun looking though.

Very cool! It is my dream to detect for ancient coins!! Someday I may get the chance to do it.....
