My First 2 Rings - Silver & Gold in the Same Hole!!!
Hello Tnet Members!
I found my first two rings today and they were silver & gold! My wife left me with my daughter and her friend today, so I couldn't get out to my local high school to detect. My wife specifically told me a few months ago . . . "Now, I don't want you doing any of your digging in the backyard as you'll make a mess of it!" So of course, I waited until she went out to dig there
and today was that day! I was searching close to the walkway when I got a solid hit at the top of the nonferrous metal range, I thought, oh great another penny! Just then my daughter and her friend come running over from the swings to see what I've found.
I tell you, I felt like I was going in slow motion as I pulled the plug from the hole, checked it with my Pro-Pointer and then broke the plug in half. That's when I first saw these two beauties looking up at me from the mud! I swear to you, I thought I was going to cry when I first saw them!
I've wanted to find a ring for a long time and now I've found silver & gold together in one hole. The rings were tied together with a gold chain bracelet that has no marks on it.
The silver ring is marked .925 and has a deep blue stone in it (possibly a birth stone ring?
)
The gold ring is stamped 10K and has 6 stones (possibly diamonds
) and a red stone (possibly a ruby
) in the center.
Thanks for looking and Happy Hunting!

Two rings chained together
. The stone on the gold one can be garnet. It's difficult to tell by photos though.
