My metal detector talks

[aa battery]

Went out yesterday and it was 108 degrees. I turned it on and heard no!! its to hot go inside. OK you right and i did.

[ticndig]

yep too hot , go inside and have a cold drink , surf the pages of treasure net in the comfort of your home . and live to hunt another day.

I'm already looking forward to a few hard freezes in the winter when I can hit the good sites without snakes, ticks, and heat strokes. In the meantime, where's the rum??

[smokeythecat]

I could go out REALLY early, but I don't handle the heat well. November is coming!

[aa battery]

103 today no way

[flinthunter]

I had an old Whites Coinmaster TR that would talk to me on occasions if I was close to the highway and someone driving by was talking on their CB. Their conversation would come through the detectors speaker until they got down the road a ways.

[Trezurehunter]

Mine talks to me. It keeps saying "Your gold coin is on the way" !! Come to think of it, maybe that's me talking to my detector.

Aaarrrrgh matey....the rum you say !!

[Geologygirl]

Despite the seeming complexity, collecting scrap metal is a fairly simple and fun process. Developing routes, exploring terrain and abandoned objects, you can feel like a real "treasure hunter". And yes, it's best to do it when the weather is cool

[Msbeepbeep]

Javadroid the rum is aboard ship!
