Detector(s) used
Garret Ace250/Prospecter Bounty hunter(Backup)
The first pic is a bunch of the stuff I have found in the past six weeks. This is the first six weeks I have been detecting. It consists of mostly modern coin stacked in dollar stacks a few junk rings, a tootsie toy jeep, the gold Freemasons ring I posted awhile back and a few baseball tokens and other misc. stuff. I have bought about ten 9 volt batteries and put $25 in gas in my rig with other coins I have found. Cash is cash! Then there is a pic of a tool marked Swiss Tech U.S.A., which is just an older multi-tool, but a pretty cool find. Then my newest find...a sterling eagles head ring marked .925 U.S.A. on the OUTSIDE. Odd but true. I also found a gold heart pendant with a small diamond in it. It is in beautiful shape but is nothing spectacular or extremely valuable...The little lady has laid claim to that one. :P

My last day out, two days ago, I stepped over a log and fell backwards. The end result was four fractured ribs and pulled back muscles...minor but very painful injuries. My detector was also injured but I can fix her up! My guess is I won't be detecting for the next month or so...but rest assured, I WILL be out there ASAP!

I WILL be checking this place everyday though, so post up some goodies for me to see. Good luck to you all!~

Sorry to hear about your mishap! I've cracked some ribs myself and it's one of the most painful unjuries you can get. Like shootist, I had to sleep sitting up in a chair for a while too! That eagle ring is really cool, I've never seen another one like it. I just found an old silver ring without any hallmarks, and its uneven so its handmade. I love finding surprises like that, and those gold rings are out there waiting to be uncovered so don't wait too long to get back out there!

Excellent variety of digs! You're doing a fantastic job out there so far.
That's an awesome eagle ring!A nice addition to your collection.
I hope you recover from your injuries soon so you can get out swingin again. HH!

You are off to a great start in this hobby.
Congrats on all the awesome finds,
especially the eagle ring, sweet!!

Hope the ribs and back heal fast. Sounds painful.
Man be more careful in the future. Good luck!

Smiles!

Sorry to hear about your fall-doesn't sound to minor to me-ouch!! On the positive side-good time to do some research on some new potential sites! Also, I really like that eagle ring-way cool! Hope you are able to get out swinging soon!

Dang that was a nasty fall and I hope you are getting better by the day. Your finds are great and I look forward to seeing more in the near future! Take Care and get back out there!

Sorry to hear about your accident. It was nice hunting with you a couple of weeks ago. Let's do another hunt when your back at it.

Tom

Thanks Tom. A minor setback here with a few cracked ribs. I should be back at it in a couple of weeks.
I had a great time a couple of weeks ago. It was a definite pleasure meeting you. As soon as I heal up a bit we will have to go check out another area or two. If you get out there and find some goodies, make sure to let us know!

Sorry to hear of your injury. I fell once in the woods and suffered similar injuries. Be careful out there, especially if you are by yourself. Nice finds there, by the way.

Nice silver ring but were are your silver coins? LOL
Keep on truckin and you will start pluckin those silver coins out of the ground. HH!! ;)

Now there is a question I plan on answering ASAP!!! One thing I can say is that the soil here in Washington state and on the Oregon coast where I do my detecting is NOT friendly to coins....I guess I'll have to find myself a cache of GOLD COINS!!! LOL

Thanks again for all of your concerns folks. I look forward to getting to know more of you better.

Those finds are piling up quick for you. I really like the eagle ring. Sorry to hear about the injuries, I hope you get well soon!

Yer a tough guy, your desire to return to the field will enhance your bodies enzymes to heal faster, and if that don't speed things up, do like I do: Dream everynight, swinging, swinging that detector, finding all kinds of AU morgans and golf balls (my recurring dream anyway).

Get well!

Sorry to hear about the fall Nash, ribs can be a bad thing. Take care and let them heal correctly. I didn't and still have a bit of a problem with them some 40 years on. Nice finds, and maybe we can get togather with Tom for a group hunt one of these days. I'm in Auburn. HH Stan...

As soon as you feel better, maybe you & Tom should come over to this side of the hill to hunt some abandoned farms.

Get well & good luck,
Paul

Looks like you're off to a good start with your finds. Sorry about your accident. Get well so you can post us some more good finds. Take care.

Wish you a speedy recovery. My hands go numb(carpel tunnel) after I have a full weekend of detecting. Takes me a good week to recover. Gotta have your health or the MDing ain't worth it.

I like your rings. I think you have found about as many as I have in the last 6 months.
