BTW that's what your wife says
Honestly I haven’t even shot a 45 out of mine. I bought it for the sole purpose of shooting snakes. Not that I couldn’t hit a snake with a bullet but I have a 1911 if I want to shoot bullets.Nice gun. I have the Judge magnum shoots 3" shot shells. 450 bucks and I scored 1000+ 3" .410's at an auction, a lot of them the "defender" rounds. I had to buy it!
Do you have a preferred .45 long? I notice my judge is picky with that round.
Yeah, it's a close up thing, jeff-gordon. Most gunfights take place at 7 yards or many times a lot less than that. Every gun encounter I was involved in fit that. Except when a sniper shot my windshield one night, haha!caze such a short barrel is soo inaccurate

Very intimidating and scary looking!
Thing about that judge is it weighs about two pounds loaded. Makes for slow deployment and lining up on a second target. I wouldn't want to carry it, more of a house gun.
I'm partial to pocket pistols though.
This is what I carry, loaded with Hornady 410 Self Defense shells and .45 hollow points. The self defense shells are 410 slug with 2 .36 cal bearings. First shell is the 410 then it alternates with .45.
